4 traders die in car-truck collision

Four traders were killed today in a head-on collision between a car and a truck on the Hisar-Chandigarh national highway here, police said.

The dead were Lalit Bansal, Het Ram, Parveen and Naresh Kumar, all occupants of the car, they said.

All of them were traders and were travelling to Hisar after attending a marriage at Narwana, police said adding the accident happened near Saccha Kliora village.

A case was registered against the truck driver who was absconding, they said.
