4-year-old boy kidnapped, sodomised in Faridabad

A 4-year-old boy was allegedly abducted and sodomised by a man here, police said today.

The victim's father lodged a complaint saying that his son was sexually abused by one Ratan Singh on May 2,they said.

The boy went missing while playing outside his home, they said, adding that on searching for him, he was found lying unconscious in bushes nearby.

The accused was found standing besides him, they said.

The boy was rushed to a hospital where the doctors informed that the boy has been sexually abused and an attempt was also made to kill him by suffocating, they said.
 

An FIR was registered nder section 363 (punishment for kidnapping) and 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC and section 4 of POCSO act against Ratan.

The accused has been arrested, the investigating officer ASI Ramesh Chand said, adding that further investigations are on in the case.
