A four-year-old girl was allegedly
raped by a youth in Jehagirabad area of the district, police said today.
The girl was sleeping in her house when the accused belonging to the same village abducted and took her to a secluded place yesterday, In-Charge of the police station, Tej Pratap Singh, said.
The accused fled after raping the minor, he said.
The girl has been sent to the district hospital for medical examination, Singh said adding that efforts were on to arrest the accused.
