45 children fall ill after consuming ice-cream in UP

As many as 45 children were taken ill, two seriously, after consuming adulterated ice-cream in three villages of Mathura district today.

Forty-five children who fell sick have been discharged and two are still hospitalised in serious condition, Chief Medical Officer Vivek Mishra said.

The accused vendor, who is absconding, has been identified as Sukha and efforts are on to nab him, ADM A K Awasthi said.
