The 45th foundation day of Dhauli Peace Pagoda here was celebrated by Kalinga Nippon Buddha Sangha today in the presence of a host of dignitaries including monks from different countries.
A number of monks had come all the way from Japan, America, England, Thailand and Nepal to join the event.
A book entitled "Dhauli Past and Present" authored by Dr Bimalendu Mohanty was released by the dignitaries on this occasion.

Besides Patasani, Dr Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KIIS and Founder International Centre for Buddhist Studies and Research, Rev T Okonogi, Chief Monk, Rajgir, Rev M Asai, Chief Monk, Wardha and K Yoda, Chief Monk, Dhauli also graced the occasion.
