Five children drowned today while
bathing their buffaloes in a pond in Bharonpur dargah village, police said.
"The children identified as Prince (10), Monika (8), Sudha (10), Ankita (12) and Shikha (8) drowned in the pond," SP (Rural) Imran Ahmed said.
The bodies have been fished out from the pond and sent for post mortem, he added.
