5 critical after stage collapse

Ten persons were injured, five of them critically, when a temporary stage on which they were sitting collapsed at Manbazar, 35 km from here today.

Purulia superintendent of police Neelkanth Sudhir Kumar said the injured were rushed to Purulia sadar hospital.

The incident took place during an exhibition football match by local teams at around 10 am.
