A five-year-old girl was allegedly
raped and killed in Sarailakhsi area of the district, police said today.
The girl, who was sleeping next to her grandmother, went missing last night. After a long search, her body was found in an agriculture field at some distance from the house, SP, Anil Kumar Singh.
The girl's mother alleged that she was raped and killed, police said, adding, two relatives of the family have been taken into custody for questioning.
Prima facie it appears to be a case of rape and murder, the SP said.
