With the arrest of 62 persons, including five women, police today claimed to have busted a sex and gambling racket after raiding a farmhouse in Sonepat town in Haryana.
"Acting on a tip off, the police team raided the farmhouse and those arrested were found betting and in objectionable state in different rooms of the farmhouse," a police spokesperson said.
An amount of Rs 5.80 lakh was seized during the raid, he said.
A case has been registered in Sadar Police Station in Sonepat, police said, adding that all the accused would be produced in the court.
