A 65-year-old man was today allegedly killed by his son over some domestic issue in Baramulla district, police said.
Abdul Rehman Najar had a scuffle with his son Khaleel over some domestic issue at their house in Dobiwan-Kunzar, they said.
"The accused was arrested and a case of murder has been registered against him," a police spokesperson said.
He said it was not immediately clear how Khaleel killed his father.
"The body has been sent for autopsy and once the report is received we will be able to share the details of the incident," the spokesperson said.
"Investigation in the case is on," he added.
