66 vehicles which were illegally parked on Vikas Marg have been confiscated in a joint action by the Traffic police and East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) here.
85 challans were also issued by municipal magistrate, said a senior EDMC officer.
Last evening's anti-encroachment drive was also focused on goods kept on roads and pavements by local shopkeepers.

The civic body in its budget has proposed to develop the Vikas Marg, connecting East Delhi to ITO, as a model area by removing encroachments.
Efforts are being made to make Vikas Marg commuter friendly, the official said, adding the area is also being provided with dustbins to keep it clean.
The cooperation of Market Associations and RWAs is also being sought to make the area into a model one, he said.
