Air Customs Intelligence officials today seized 680 gms of gold, valued at about Rs 20 lakhs, from a passenger, who arrived in an Air India Express Dubai-Calicut flight at the Karippur International airport.
The passenger has been identified as Abdul Azeez, Air Customs officials said.
The gold was hidden in the handle of a hair straightener equipment, they said.
