7 arrested, 96 bottles liquor seized

Police have arrested seven persons allegedly with 96 bottles of liquor for distribution among voters here, police said today.

Police arrested Yogesh, a resident of Friends colony, Kalwa from Subhash colony Ballabhgarh, Govind from Mirzapur, Lucky from Nawada, Karna, Baburam and Vipin residents of Subhash colony, in separate incidents, a police spokesperson said.

A case has been registered under Excise Act against the accused, police said.
