Seven members of a family, including two minors, were killed and 25 others injured when a tempo in which they were travelling fell into a 150-feet gorge in Sirohi district of Rajasthan, police said today.
The accident occurred late last night in Abu area when the victims were returning home in Uplagarh area from Amba Mata temple, SHO Rohera Kishandas said.
The tempo driver lost control over the vehicle following which it fell into the gorge, he said.
The deceased were identified as Bhana (50), Lumba (11), Bhima (40), Maga (40), Saji (40) Kaniya (6) and Samira (35), he said, adding, that the injured were being treated at a local hospital.
