A seven-year-old boy who was missing since Friday was found murdered at Jhonjhana town in neighbouring Shamli district, police said today.
Faiz's body was found in the fields in the village yesterday, police said, adding, it is suspected that he was strangulated to death.
Police have registered a case against unidentified persons in this connection and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a 40-year-old woman was shot dead yestreday by unidentified miscreants when she was going somewhere with her nephew near kutti village in the district.
The woman was identifed as Babli, police said, adding, that they are interrogating her nephew Sanjay who was with her during the time of the incident.
