: About 70 properties, comprising residential and commercial units, will be on show at the seventh edition of Fairpro, beginning here from August 1 and organised by the local chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI).
Residential flats and villas, ranging from Rs 20 lakh to Rs three crore, homes in gated communities, row houses, retirement homes and the like and commercial spaces will be offered to the public for sale, Rajesh Lund, CREDAI Coimbatore, told reporters here today.
Six financing institutions and banks are participating with facilities for spot home loans approval, he said, adding that to encourage customers, two per cent interest subvention on the home loans for the two years would be extended.

The real estate sector was picking up and CREDAI members here have got good inquiries in the last two months, he said.
With Coimbatore selected as one of the Smart City projects, the sector expected a boost in real estate, he said adding that cost of land was not coming down, despite available in various part of the city.
The three day fair will be inaugurated by Mayor P Rajkumar in the presence of Corporation Commissioner, VIjaya Karthikeyan, Lund said.
