8-year-old raped, strangulated

A minor girl was allegedly raped and strangulated by two persons in Misrikh area here, police said today.

The victim had gone to collect wood last evening but did not return home, they said adding her body had been found.

She was allegedly raped and strangulated by two persons who were absconding, police said.

A hunt had been launched to nab them, they said.
