8-year-old sodomised, killed: police

An eight-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised and killed by a youth in Ramnagar area here, police said today.

Twentyfour-year-old Nitin allegedly sodomised and killed the boy, a class 2nd student, while he was returning home from school on Saturday, station in-charge Pankaj Singh said.

Nitin was assaulted by locals after he confessed to the crime, Singh said.
