82 cases of liquor seized in Pithapuram, two arrested

The officials of enforcement wing of prohibition and excise department today conducted a raid on a godown in Pithapuram town and seized 82 cases of liquor.

Excise officials said two persons were arrested and their liquor shops were sealed.

Duty on the seized liquor stock had not been paid. Further probe was on.
