85 pouches of illicit liquor seized, one held

As many as 85 pouches of illicit liquor, meant for distribution among the public, were seized here and one person was arrested in this connection.

Rajesh Singh, an alleged bootlegger, was arrested from the outskirts of the city and 85 pouches of liquor were seized at his behest, police said.

The illicit liquor was meant for distribution among the general public, they said.

A case under the Excise Act had been registered, police said.
