As many as 907 boxes of English and country-made illicit liquor have been seized by the excise and tax department of Fatehpur sub-division of Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, officials said Tuesday.
The illicit liquor was seized on Monday evening from various vendors, who were selling the liquor without any proper documents, an official said.
Deputy Commissioner of the Excise and Taxation department Ujjawal Singh Rana said a report was being made on the seizes by the Palampur-based joint commissioner of the department for further action.
