A case of rape with minor comes to light in Nawada district

A minor was allegedly raped in Bihar's Nawada district today and a man was arrested in connection with the incident and sent to jail, the police said.

An FIR was today lodged against the man by the victim's family.

According to the FIR the man had raped the youngster when her family members had gone to harvest crops in the field.

The accused had fled when the locals gathered after the girl raised an alarm, the police said adding he was later caught.

The victim was sent to the sadar hospital for medical examination, the police added.
