ACB sleuths arrest 3 for taking bribe

Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths today arrested two police officers along with a middleman for allegedly taking bribe of Rs 2 lakh in Nagaur district.
Ladnu Station House Officer Naresh Kumar and Assistant Sub Inspector Rawatram had demanded the bribe from Nirmal Kumar through a middleman Salim for settling a case lodged against him for alleged land grabbing, the ACB sources here said.
They had already taken Rs 5 lakh and were demanding additional Rs 4 lakh, they said adding, after verification, a trap was laid and they were held at the police station while accepting the bribe.
A probe has been initiated into the matter, they said.
