ACME bags contract in Africa

ACME has bagged a contract for installing energy storage solutions for a leading telecom company in Africa, the company said today.

ACME is into providing energy management solutions and has presence in solar energy segment.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The order is for installing "Li-Ion based energy storage solutions in African continent for a leading African telecom player and tower company", ACME said in a statement.

The project is expected to be ready by the end of September quarter.

"This installation will be done by ACME under its exclusive and strategic agreement with a Korean energy storage system giant... This installation marks ACME's entry into African continent," the statement said.
