: Acme Fitness, engaged in supply of imported fitness equipment, has launched Acfit Academy aimed at training fitness professionals.
It would provide training and guidance to fitness professionals along with an international certification programme with US-based National Academy of Sports Medicine to enable them pursue careers as 'professional trainers'.
Acfit Academy offers the certification programme along with a unique training model designed based on Community First Responder training, a company statement said.
"The creation of Acfit Academy is the result of the combined vision of Acme Fitness and fitness professional Hariharan Krishnamurthy, whose experience and knowledge is vastly instrumental in building this organisation", Acme Fitness founder Ramesh L Raja said.
The Academy offers an opportunity for aspiring fitness professionals to not only receive advanced knowledge and training, but also leverage it to build careers in this space, he said.
