Actor David Zayas to join 'Gotham'

Actor David Zayas, best known for his role in 'Dexter', has reportedly joined the cast of upcoming superhero TV series 'Gotham'.

The 51-year-old actor will play mob boss Salvatore Maroni, one of the city's most dangerous gangsters, in the 'Batman' prequel drama, reported Deadline.

'Gotham' to be premiered on Fox this winter, revolves around the characters of detective James Gordon and Bruce Wayne (Batman) to be played by Ben McKenzie and David Mazouz respectively.
