Adityanath calls on NDA's vice-presidential pick Naidu

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today paid a visit to NDA's vice-presidential nominee M Venkaiah Naidu here.

"He (Adityanath) came to extend his best wishes to me," Naidu said after the meeting.

The former Union housing and urban affairs minister added that Adityanath apprised him of the progress of various schemes in the state such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) and Swachh Bharat Mission.

In May, Naidu had visited Uttar Pradesh to review the implementation of these schemes.
