Adoor Gopalakrishnan selected for Parabrahma Chaitanya award

Noted film personality Adoor Gopalakrishnan has been selected for the 2015 Parabrahma Chaitanya award for his outstanding contribution to the field of culture.

The award, instituted by Padanilam Para Brahma temple at Oonatukara near Adoor comprises a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and a citation, Jury Chairman and former head of Kerala Chalachitra Academy K R Mohanan said here today.

The award would be presented to Gopalkrishnan at a function at the temple premises on November 17, C Rahim a jury member said.
