AIADMK councillor found murdered

The body of the 60-year-old councillor of Tirupur's 22nd Ward, Muthusamy, was found with three cut injuries on the neck last night.

A sand bag was placed on the face and a grinding stone near the head, police said.

Muthu's wife was not at home and had gone to nearby Uthukuli, when the incident occurred.
