Air officer reviews operational preparedness of southern base

: Air Officer, Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Air Command, B Suresh inspected various sections and units at the Air Force Station in Thanjavur Monday.

He was received by group captain and the station commander Prajual Singh, a defence press release said here.

During the visit, Suresh reviewed the operational preparedness of the base and was appraised on the ongoing work in making the station as one of the premier fighter jet airbases in the southern region, the release said.
