All India Santali Film Association (AISFA) today condoled the death of renowned Santhali film actor-producer-script writer Pitambar Soren, who breathed his last in Bokaro two days ago.
Condoling the death, AISFA president, Ramesh Hansdah said Soren was a well known Santali artists and has major contribution in the promotion of Santali films.
55-year-old Soren died of cardiac arrest two days ago in his native village Ritudih in Bokaro district, Hansdah said.

He said Soren had earned many accolades for his talent in Santhali film script writing as well as a producer-actor.
With his demise, Santali film fraternity has lost a great actor-producer-script writer, he said terming it as an irreparable loss
Among others, Soren won awards for his best script writing of 'Amin Dular Mein' (RASCA award in 2011) and AISFA award in 2013 for best character role in the film. Besides, his film 'Suluk' and 'Asadolan' have also earned awards in 2014 and 2015, Hansdah added.
