: All India Youth Federation volunteers today took out a procession and staged a demonstration near the Assembly, demanding government's intervention to settle their charter of demands.
While marching to the agitation venue, they also picked up garbage to ensure that Puducherry becomes a clean city, police said.
Their demands,among other things, include discontinuation of practice of skipping employment exchange to post employees, availability of bank loans to unemployed youth to launch self employment projects and jobs for locals in industries by earmarking around 60 per cent of posts in industries to them.
