Akali leader Talwandi critical

Senior Akali leader and former president of the Shriomni Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Jathedar Jagdev Singh Talwandi, who was admitted to a private hospital here a few days ago, was stated to be critical.

Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal today visited the hospital and enquired about his health.

The 85-year-old leader is suffering from a cardiac ailment and has now been put on the life-saving equipment, an official of the hospital said today.
