Akbar calls on Syrian President

Minister of State for External Affairs M J Akbar today called on Syrian President Bashar Al Assad in Damascus and discussed bilateral ties.

"During his official visit to Syria, MoS @mjakbar called on President Bashar Al Assad in Damascus today," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

Akbar is on an official visit to Lebanon, Syria and Iraq to strengthen bilateral ties with the West Asia region.
