A four member delegation led by the Ambassador of Kasai-Occidental, province of Democratic Republic of Congo, Alex Kande Mupompa today called on Punjab Governor and Chandigarh UT Administrator Shivraj Patil here today.
Both Patil and Mupompa discussed the issue of expanding partnership in the field of agriculture and education.
Patil said, "There is a major scope to further expand economic and business cooperation in agriculture produce, sharing of educational tools and technologies, which can be of immense mutual benefit of people on both sides."
He said Punjab achieved a major success in the field of agriculture and allied sectors and added that the state was emerging as a progressive and vibrant investment destination.
He suggested strengthening of partnership in agri-related ventures especially dairy and food processing.
