Four persons were hurt when an ambulance ferrying a patient to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital turned turtle after being hit by a car on Feroz Shah Road in the heart of the national capital this morning, police said.
Those injured were the driver of the ambulance, the patient it was carrying, his attendant and the driver of the car, police said.
Luckily, all of them escaped with minor injuries, they said.

Eye witnesses said the ambulance, which was attending to an emergency call, had skipped a traffic signal. But the driver of the car, who had a green signal, ended up hitting the ambulance.
A police team reached the spot immediately and rushed the injured to the hospital in PCR vans, police said.
