Anant Vikram Singh, estranged son of Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, was today released on bail from the district jail.
Allahabad High Court had on Wednesday granted bail to Anant, who was arrested last month in connection with the killing of a constable, Vijay Kumar Mishra, in September last year over a property dispute related to the ownership of Bhupati Bhawan.
Anant was arrested from the Bhawan, ownership of which is being claimed by several people of the Amethi's royal family.
