An NSCN (IM) cadre held

One NSCN (IM) cadre was

arrested from Dima Hasao district by Assam Rifles.

An Assam Rifles spokesperson said the militant was arrested from Borohaflong under Haflong police station last night.

The cadre has been identified as Kilungbuing Nkume of Borohaflong.

One 9 mm pistol, five rounds of ammunition and three extortion demand letters were recovered from the cadre, who was handed over to police today, the spokesperson said.
