Andhra Pradesh: Four killed, six injured in road accident

Four persons were killed and six others injured when a vehicle carrying them fell into gorge in the East Godavari district, police said today.

The mishap occurred late last night when the vehicle's driver lost control over it while negotiating a deep curve in the Tiger camp area on the Maredumilli and Chinturu Ghat road , a senior police official said.

Four persons were killed on the spot while six others sustained injuries, the officer added.

The deceased were returning to Kakinada after attending a religious event in Chinturu, he said, adding a case was registered and probe was on.
