AP cops warn of strict action to check drug menace

At a co-ordination meeting held on the issue of drug trafficking by CID Additional Director General of Police T Krishna Prasad and senior police officers of Hyderabad and Cyberabad police commissionerates, it was decided to take stringent measures to counter the use of drugs.

An appeal was also made to the public, particularly youths, college students, software professionals not to indulge in drug abuse.

"It is advised that they should not indulge in this activity which is detrimental to lives," a release said.
