Andhra Pradesh today urged the Centre to resolve all pending issues that had emerged after the bifurcation of the state last year.
According to an official statement from the Andhra Pradesh Information Centre here, state Chief Secretary I Y R Krishna Rao, who was accompanied by DGP J V Ramudu, called on Union Home Secretary L C Goyal here today.
Rao told mediapersons that he had requested the Home Department to address the issues at the earliest to which the Home Secretary assured an early solution, the release added.
The Home Secretary also preferred the meeting as Andhra Pradesh was inadvertently left out during the last meeting in which Telangana and Chhattisgarh were invited to discuss issues of extremism, the release added.
