The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) will hold an interaction session with stakeholders from the edible oil industry here on Thursday to resolve various technical issues.
The interaction session will also have some technical sessions with experts from both industry and academics, APPCB said in a press release.
The session will deal with waste minimisation, cleaner technology options, treatment and disposal options.
APPCB has also apprised that such sessions were held previously on pharma industry at Visakhapatnam and Barium compounds at Kadapa.
It said that objective of such sessions is to have detailed interactions between industry and experts so as to arrive at appropriate solutions to problems being faced by the industries.
