Armed robbers loot Rs 40 lakh, jewellery

Four armed robbers in mask looted Rs 40 lakh cash and ornaments from a jeweller's house in Sikandra town of Dausa district in wee hours today, police said.

The robbers who came on foot and entered the bungalow after breaking open the gates on the top floor, fled with the booty, SHO Sikandra Asharam said.

He said the robbers locked the jeweller, his wife and grandson from outside before escaping.
