Army Havildar killed in detonator explosion
An Army personnel was killed while setting up a detonator at a firing range in the Cantonment area here today, police said.
The incident occurred at Mahar Regiment Centre's Long Range in Kapuria Sagar area at around 8.30 am.
Havildar Vakul Kumar Patelia (40) was setting up a detonator which suddenly exploded, killing him on the spot, Cantonment police station's in-charge B M Trivedi told PTI.
Further investigation is on, he added.
