Jaundice has spread in various parts of this industrial city with more than 100 cases reported in the last few days and 41 of them were being treated at the civil hospital here.
A high-level team, comprising Vikas Partap Singh, Secretary, local bodies, D K Tiwari CEO Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Gulshan, Director, ESI, Daljit Singh, Chief Engineer Sewerage Board, and Deputy Commissioner Abhinav Trikha visited various localities, health officials said.
They took stock of the situation and ordered authorities concerned to take steps on an urgent basis to curb the disease.
Trikha said 41 jaundice patients are being treated in the civil hospital and various medical teams have been constituted to provide door-to-door relief to the patients.
