Asahi India Glass Q1 net profit rises 38% at Rs 39 cr

Asahi India Glass today reported a 38.33 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 39.19 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2017.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 28.33 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Asahi India Glass said in a BSE filing.

Net sales during the quarter were up 8.60 per cent at Rs 670.98 crore, as against Rs 617.84 crore in the year-ago period.

The stock closed 2.39 per cent down at Rs 281.55 on BSE.
