Ashok Leyland July sales down 10 pc at 7,847 units

Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland today reported a 10.27 per cent decline in its total sales at 7,847 units in July.

The company had sold 8,746 units during the same month of previous year, Ashok Leyland said in a statement.

Sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicle in July were down by 8.45 per cent to 5,736 units from 6,266 units sold during the same month of previous year.

Sales of light commercial vehicles in July, 2014 declined by 14.87 per cent to 2,111 units from 2,480 units sold in the same month of previous year.
