The body of an assistant sub-inspector of police has been found hanging from a ceiling fan at his quarter in Lakhisarai district of Bihar.
The body of the ASI, Vishram Bhagat (45), was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his service quarter at Halsi police station limits late last night, sub-dDivisional police officer Pankaj Kumar said.
The motive behind the policeman's death was under investigation, the SDPO said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and his family members residing in neighbouring Jharkhand have been informed, Kumar said.
