Asian Athletic Championship in Pune from July 3 to 7

The Asian Athletic Championship will be held in Pune from July 3 to 7, for which Maharashtra government would be incurring expenditure of about Rs 18 crore, official sources said here.

Maharashtra agreed to host the event after Tamil Nadu and later Delhi backed out.
