ASISC's National Games to be held in Hyderabad from Nov 6

The Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC) today said its 20th National Athletics and Games would be held here from November 6 to 11.

"ASISC has been organising inter-school events at the national level for the last twenty years with the purpose of providing opportunities to the children of member schools to come together in a spirit of healthy competition and discover their innate talents," K V Vincent, Secretary Treasurer, ASISC, said.

The six-day event will see participation of 3,000 students from 1600 schools (ICSE and ISC) across the country in volleyball, swimming, hockey, athletics, badminton, football, basketball and lawn tennis, a release from ASISC said.
